Here is the line up for April and May events that we will be attending, our team will be on hand to answer any of your recruitment questions or for if your department is interested in using our services.

 

NEWCASTLE:

Event: JCA MRI Prostate
When: 8th April 2019
Where: Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle

This is a 1 day workshop.

 

LONDON:

Event: BIR Interactive Trauma Imaging
When: 26th April 2019
Where: University of Liverpool, London

This one-day hands-on interactive workshop allows delegates to work through real-life cases in a virtual emergency department setting. The facilitators lead discussion and review the imaging, highlighting learning points and potential pitfalls.

 

MANCHESTER:

Event: RCR MSK Plain Film Meeting
When: 29th April 2019
Where: Manchester Royal Infirmary

This plain radiography imaging day will aim to demonstrate both the continuing value, and pitfalls of plain radiographs in musculoskeletal conditions.

 

LONDON:

Event: RCR Audit & Quality Improvement Forum
When: 7th May 2019
Where: The Royal College of Radiologists, London

The programme will appeal to all those involved and interested in radiological audit and quality improvement, including departmental audit leads.

 

CARDIFF:

Event: SRT Training Annual Conference
When: 16th & 17th May 2019
Where: Hilton Hotel, Cardiff

The programme is designed entirely with trainees in mind and speakers are invited based on their ability to provide engaging and enjoyable teaching to trainees. Strongly supported by the RCR, issues relevant to radiology trainees will also be discussed.

Event: HC-UK Improving Radiology Reporting: Digital Imaging Summit
When: 17th May 2019

PERTH:

Event: Scottish Radiological Society Spring Meeting
When: 17th May 2019
Where: McDiarmid Park Conference Centre, Perth

We are delighted to announce Prof Graeme Houston, Dundee, will present our annual Allan Reid interventional lecture.

As well as presentations from trainees who have received travel and research bursaries from the SRS in 2018/19, there will be talks on neuroimaging and the role of blood sensitive sequences by Dr Avinash Kanodia (Ninewells), and the role of the radiologist in the future of right colon cancer from Mr Ken Campbell (general surgeon, Ninewells).

One of the hottest topics in Scottish radiology, SRTP, will have a dedicated discussion session chaired by Dr Grant Baxter and Dr Graham McKillop.

 

LIVERPOOL:

Event: RCR Hand-on Multimodality Imaging of the Upper limb – with emphasis on Sports Injuries
When: 20th & 21st May 2019
Where: Marriot Hotel, Liverpool

A two day comprehensive course covering Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist and Hand with an opportunity to go through a multitude of pathologies of the Upper limb- including sports related injuries.  It encompasses various modalities, including plain radiographs, US, CT and MRI which would help to enhance and consolidate the knowledge base.- Hands-on teaching with individual iMac workstations comprising all radiological modalities.
