RCR18 LIVERPOOL

Event: RCR18
When: 10-12 September 2018
Where: ACC, Liverpool

Highlights include:

3 radiology lecture streams and two workshop streams per day.

Topics include paediatric oncology, cardiac CT, MSK arthritis, breast cancer, forensic imaging and more

An oncology programme spanning all three days of the meeting that will focus on prostate, lower GI, toxicity and reirradiation

LONDON

Event:  RCR HPB imaging update
When: 2 October 2018
Where: Royal College of Physicians, London

This study day is aimed at general radiologists to provide a comprehensive update of all aspects of liver, biliary and pancreatic imaging including how to optimise CT/MRI protocols and indications for functional imaging/EUS.

CAMBRIDGE

Event:  BIR Learning from errors in radiology
When: 5 October 2018
Where: Robinsons College, Cambridge

This one-day event will cover the important aspects of quality improvement and safe clinical practice as well as address a wide range of issues related to radiology errors and incidents. The lectures include litigation, management of serious incidents/error, and human factors. Specific radiological topics on errors related to imaging of the chest, abdomen, musculoskeletal, acute emergencies and paediatrics will also be highlighted.

BIRMINGHAM

Event: RCR Plain Film
When: 12 October 2018
Where: IET, Birmingham

This meeting aims to revisit the important role of plain film examinations in radiology practice.

LONDON

Event:  RCR Red Hot Radiology
When: 19 October 2018
Where: Royal College of Physicians, London

This is a unique and different study day with a varied programme, it is designed to showcase both current and cutting edge aspects of radiology from head to toe.

BIR ANNUAL CONGRESS 2018 LONDON

Event: BIR Annual Congress 2018
When: 1-2 November 2018
Where: etc Venues St Pauls, London

This multidisciplinary event will appeal to anyone within radiology, radiation oncology and the underlying sciences, including radiologists, physicists, radiology managers, radiographers, oncologists, clinical scientists, physicians, radiation protection advisers and supervisors.

Event: RCR Thoracic oncology study day
When: 9 November 2018
Where: Cavendish Conference Centre, London

This programme provides an update for radiologists and clinical oncologists involved in lung cancer MDTs.

Event: BSSR Autumn Meeting
When: 16 November 2018
Where: London Geographical Society 

The BSSR is the premier organisation for musculoskeletal radiologists in the UK and a special interest group of the Royal College of Radiologists. The society holds regular educational meetings and provides a national forum for discussion of issues relating to musculoskeletal radiology imaging and practice

Event:  RCR Tips and tricks for MDMs from head to toe
